Some of my pieces that I've performed before. Nothing too good but it's what I enjoy doing.
Arc of Life
The wind sways to the sounds of whispers
Whispers of the dead sleeping in the sand
Their spirits rise to come to signal a sign,
“Time is divine, Time is divine, Time is divine”
Armies of clouds commanded by the sky’s reign
Open their mouths and plague the earth with rain
Those still alive start shakin’, bearin’ and breakin’
Breakin’ the promises they set in stone
The People keep fakin’ as the waters grow
Humanity floods onto the only arc that could save them
Given a second chance at living—but they forsake it.
Can we, as a people, jump off of the arc of our pride
and drown in vulnerability?
Enough to apologize for our lies and practice humility?
Enough to forgive because forgiveness is an empty cup
Only to be filled up with emotion and struck by God
Who Knocks it off His table;
We were once his prized fable
Now we exhale hatred into this pipe
Our bodies become unstable, unable to stop this fight
This strife in the sight of this plight is sin
Is the embodiment of our souls, sin itself?
Sin, the sleazy sickening snake of evil has slithered into our spirited house
Our skins drip the vile stench of servitude
We have to shower in our minds to cleanse ourselves in this thought of
wickedness
Love is the only Exorcist to liberate this long-lasting languish
Then time stretches its hands up to the sky to give the final praise
of liberation.
Treasure
I once had a dream of something marvelous
Dreams of where you and I connected
Connections like two strings tied into a treasured twist
A bold and binding band that breaks bolts
Opening the very essence of life
Finding fortunes of friendship and feelings that has never been expressed
Our knowledgeable knot connects quickly to others; it cannot be cut!
Latching on to our loved ones, we lure them into our long lasting life
Our happiness hitches onto their heart
Our caring chronicles carved and created caringly curves…
CUT!
The rope is ripped
Reality is reached.
The key to my creations, clamped.
Until you come to unlock it.
Rarity
Why am I here?
I am this dark hideous and horrible hypothesis
This dreadful damp and deep darkness is disgusting.
Sitting sickly here saying, ‘Someone assist. Please assist…”
Assistance is denied. Deeply drenched in doubt, everyone disregards me.
Caring is too costly to common creatures.
Their cold customs clench on to my body, creating chilling concepts.
Years go by and I yearn for living.
All hope is haplessly hashed.
Death is distinctively there declaring me.
Shutting my saddening eyes, I suddenly see a shimmering light
Someone snatches me and smiles
Dark, I am no more…
I am a dazzling diamond that dazes millions with my delicacy.
My beauty is brilliantly being held within in my body;
The crystal core creates concord and conciliation.
My cost is a continuum that cannot be spent
Supremely my smiles will stun society with satisfaction
For, I am the rarest and reserved release there is in the world.
I have some more but I feel as though I shouldn't post all of them all yet. That would ruin the surprises to come.
